Learning Beyond the Classroom
The 20 Words Literacy Project is a registered organization that focuses on providing learners, parents, teachers, and the Indigenous community across the Southern part of Nigeria with the opportunity to participate in the education process and celebrate academic achievement.
We strongly believe that education cannot be limited to only what is taught in the classroom; co-curriculum. As such, our programmes are meant to complement the school curriculum.
Since 2017, over 5,000 children have participated in the 20words annual spelling bee competitions, providing a positive opportunity to improve their English language, spelling, comprehension, and communication skills.
